A warm thank you to all the people who came to our Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Okay, I can say with all honesty that I did not see this coming. 

On December 2nd we held Sunshine Medical Equipment's Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our 15065 Imperial Hwy location! We had many members of La Mirada's Chamber of Commerce, such as it's President Richard Trujillo, La Mirada's Councilmember John Lewis, Esq, and as seen in the photo La Mirada's Mayor Ed Eng.

To put it simply, it's very humbling that he took the time out of a day as a Mayor to congratulate us, state that he sees us as a very successful business with La Mirada's demographic and our location, and told us he was proud to have us in his city. This same sentiment goes out to his Council and the Chamber (who were also gracious enough to write and film a video about us) as well as accentuates the point that at the end of the day we are all trying to provide to our La Mirada.

Thank you for our partners in the CDK Med Corp team for their help in setting up with La Mirada's Chamber and for bringing their own batch of Sunshine in the form of their adorable 2 month old. 

Thank you to Joni Moore for her representation and bringing in some of the equipment we now carry and sell. She has not only been a business partner for Karine but a very supportive friend personally. 

I want to also congratulate and thank my aunt, Marina Leoni, and her company C'est La Vie Artisanal Catering. I have no doubt that it was because of her delicious sandwiches and treats that made the Grand Opening so successful, it elevated spirits and set the room for celebration. It's also hard to not want to come to a location that is serving free food, bonus points if its tasty. I don't think I am being hyperbolic when every attendee wanted to know who set up the catering, so in my eyes there were two Grand Openings on December 2.
