SoCal Hospitality and Our Goals
La Mirada's Mobility Emporium is underway!
First of all, in the time we have spent building up Sunshine whether it's our store neighbors or across the street, to our deliveries and mail, to onlookers taking a gander on what we are getting in, we've been given so much praise, wishes of luck, and welcomes across the neighborhood. We have received that special southern hospitality right here in SoCal and I wanted to take a minute and say thank you so much and we hope to make you all proud.
That said, what is Sunshine Medical Equipment?
We are a medical retail establishment that aims to provide ease and comfort for those of limited mobility and to provide peace of mind throughout daily needs and tasks. This includes cushions for wheelchairs, or even the wheelchair itself, to bathroom safety mats and compression socks. Whether it's long-term caretaker work, or a small cut that needs wrapping, our goal is to provide medical-grade equipment for life's necessities.
Karine Nersessian, Sunshine's President, has been overseeing our build-up and has over 30 years of mobility experience and has been the partner of several medical companies in California. Tragically, early on in 2021 my father, Juan, her husband, passed away in the hospital and we would attempt to focus on work to stave off our grief. As we saw bright smiles from patients and caretakers who got what they needed we knew that we want to recreate those moments constantly.
So, in honor of what Juan called his children, Sunshine aims to provide comfort and peace; for all parties involved. That's our goal: to do our best to make tomorrow a little bit brighter.

If you would like to see what's in store (literally) our doors are open at 15065 Imperial Hwy, La Mirada, CA 90637 Monday to Friday from 9AM-2PM as we continue to build the store. We hope to see you soon!
